First sail of 2010, New Year's Day at Elephant Butte Lake

On New Year's Day (1 January 2010 and yes that date does sound futuristic) we seemed to be the second boat out on the lake. We caught up with Zorro and his Etchells Constellation and sailed in quite light breezes. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, the winds became even fainter and shiftier, requiring us to pay ever closer attention to finding every scrap of breeze.
