Laser Youth Sailing at Elephant Butte Lake

Before the Sunrise Regatta commenced, a group of West Mesa high school students sponsored by the Coronado Optimist Sailing Club sailed their Lasers in an impromptu regatta early on Saturday morning. The students sailed off the beach near the Rock Canyon boat ramp at Elephant Butte Lake. The had light breezes on Saturday morning, but made up for that and then some with some spirited sailing on Sunday. Here is a batch of pictures from Saturday morning.
