Lake Pleasant Practice Race, September 20, 2008, Arizona Yacht Club
The arizona Yacht Club starting line is a busy place on the morning of Saturday, September 20, 2008, at Lake Pleasant, Arizona. This was the day for race committee training and practice races in which all boats started as a single fleet. The last race was almost a bit of a double cross, or more accurately, a double-X; the X course twice around required four windward mark roundings, which most boat crews didn't catch.
