So did she win?
Sure enough she did, by about 12 to 13 minutes ahead of her rival in the slow-moving race. (One of the smaller boats, by the way, was sailed very well and would have come in only a couple of minutes behind Carol Anne had they been racing on corrected time.) Of course, Carol Anne had good crew on board; I was safely running the committee boat.
