Sailboats at the South Shore/South Point marina in Port Isabel near the Laguna Madre Yacht Club. Outdoor Resorts condos/sea cottages on Long Island in background. Yacht club and marina are near the Port Isabel commercial harbor and close to the Brownsville Ship Channel and the Brazos Santiago (Arms of St. James) pass into the Gulf of Mexico. Slip rates for transient boats are somewhat pricey in this area, though long-term slip rates in the Houston-Clear Lake area were quite affordable.
