So many projects in so many different states of ... development? disarray?

Automotively, we've learned that we'll likely get less than $1,800 from the totaled Cavalier. Tad's replacement eyeglasses have not yet arrived, so he won't get them until the end of his Scout camp.

The Miata's new tires aren't expected arrive until Monday, July 16, and it also needs a service appointment now that the "check engine" light is on.

The Expedition apparently has a vacuum leak somewhere in its fuel system and won't be repaired for perhaps another few days.

Bus? Rental Car? Pump up bike tires?

Thursday update: More gloom and despair. The Expedition won't even be fully diagnosed until Friday.

The Miata's service appointment is for Tuesday, July 24th... just a few days before we leave for Dillon. It's going to take a week and a half just to get someone to look at the Miata.
