When the rains come at Heron Lake, it can be pleasant to take refuge under the canopy of the marina shelter and enjoy a meal or a snack with beverages and nautical conversations.

Of course, that marina shelter is also a perfect location for special events, such as wedding receptions, especially now that we have a professional-quality gas grill that a caterer could use to advantage.
I had invited a woman to come crew for me, but she said she couldn't spare the time because her daughter was getting married. I told her they ought to relocate the ceremony ... unfortunately, I think the daughter had other ideas.
