How many strings to pull on an Etchells?

Quite a few, and we're still working on Carol Anne's boat.

Shown above is the "Barney Post", with control lines for the topping lift, foreguy, downhaul, and backstay, among others, with the mainsheet just behind.


Shown above is the front of the cockpit, with just a few more lines and sheets and thingies.


Traveler and fine tune lines at left, spinnaker sheet at right.


The skipper takes a peek below. Note that the slip is lined with "fun noodles" for padding.

Hey Carol Anne-

That's a serious number of lines... more than on my boat... :D But I don't intend on running a Spinnaker... just an Asymetric on a roller-furler. :D
