Oh no! Does that cat have thumbs? And how exactly did Gerald get tagged by Scratch? Curious.
Yes, the cat does have thumbs. He's got six toes on each front foot, and five each on the rear.
Gerald had gone to a big sale at a sporting-goods store, and city Animal Services had a mobile adoption center in the parking lot. He was standing a little too close, and Scratch reached out and tapped him on the shoulder. Gerald was doomed.
What a softy.
