Up up and away to Mount McAbee and an Ocean View

During Thursday's visit to the Big Basin state park, I not only enjoyed seeing and learning about the coast redwoods, but also got in a moderately strenuous hike up to the 1730 foot high Mount McAbee view point. I was rewarded with a view of the Pacific Ocean in the distance below.
