Desert Sea

The Desert Sea will be part personal journal, part essay compendium, and partially a record of travels and events. The name reflects the surprise some people may experience after meeting desert sailors and learning how many of us sail upon New Mexico's lakes. Yes, sailboats and hearty crews are a part of New Mexico, though this site will also discuss books with and without boats, city and country living, the joys and headaches of parenting a teen, trips to the coast, and the issues of the day.
